Hollowness

The square is formed by one string alone. The string implies how hard we work ourselves, holding on to the things that we have, in order to look good in front of others. But on the inside, we are nothing but a white hole of nothingness. Combined with the Chinese technique of 留白"leaving the whites", it leaves the viewer to reflect upon themselves.
